Monday Confessions | The List

Oh so ya thought I forgot, huh? Nope. Just a tad behind. Went to the lake this weekend and water skied for the first time in about 8 years. I also went tubing. The combo takes a lot of back/shoulder/arm strength! This has caused my back to go on strike against me with knots. They make me nauseous and cranky. Now, aren’t you glad you asked?

monday confessions

So on to The List.

This is the 4th and final week of Monday Confessions. I decided I’d just make a list of confessions so here goes:

  1. I can’t stand when others eat cereal in front of me. Ew. I know some of you really love your cereal but please refrain from letting the milk run down your chin. And please don’t slurp the milk down when you finish the cereal portion and are drinking the milk from the bowl.
  2. I just really loved the Twilight Saga’s. Yep. I was a Twi-Mom. I mourned when it ended. And I DON’T CARE what you think. Don’t judge. It’s not nice.
  3. I love white wedding cake like a tiger loves raw meat. I probably eat it the same way too. YUM.
  4. I pick my cuticles until they’re raw and bleeding. The only thing that hinders me doing this is having acrylic nails. This is so annoying to me. I wish I could just have beautiful, natural looking, short nails. Uggghh.
  5. I twist my hair. I’ve done this since I was a kid. It’s a habit that I’ve tried to break but fail every time. It’s just how it is, I’m fine with it.
  6. The last and final (and maybe the best) confession is this: I am a daughter of the King, Jesus Christ. He loves me. He adores me.  I am beautiful. I am lovely. I’m not perfect, but I’m a work in progress.♥

This is the most important confession wouldn’t you agree?

Before we go on do you see my top knot? I finally figured out how to put it up since I got my hair cut a couple months ago. I was majorly pumped!

Alrighty, there ya go! Hope you’ve enjoyed reading about my confessions as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them down. Don’t worry, I’m sure there will be more confessions from me in the future. I won’t be able to help not writing them down!

Love you guys MORE! xo

I missed you yesterday. I not only bought a maxi dress. I bought TWO. And I’ve worn this first one 3 days in a row (don’t judge me). I peeled it off of me last night to wash it so I could wear again today. I kinda want to sleep in it! Thank you for helping me take that leap of faith! 🙂 XOXOXO

  2. Rachel says:

I love your 6th or final confession- Amen sister in Christ. I enjoyed reading these.

That´s a very pretty top you´re wearing and when I read your no.5 confession, I suddenly remembered my cousin because she does that since we´re younger until now. She´s in her late 40s, mind you! 🙂

  4. Cindy says:

Love your lists! How about a tutorial on the top knot. I REALLY need that!!! ☺️

  5. JG says:

Sorry for the general accusation on the cereal fetish folks…didn’t mean for you to get caught in the fruit loop cross fire! That was directed at me and I’m glad to accept it — now, excuse me while I wipe this milk from my chin 😉

  6. Cynthia says:

Love your list of confessions. Some of them made me chuckle. I’m guilty of #2 but only two of them. My favorite is #6 🙂 ~Cynthia

  7. Amy Ann says:

    1. We went to the lake last weekend. I tubbed, and by tubbing I mean I laid in the tub instead of holding on for dear life. Mys husband tubbed and knee boarded. He was sore for days!
    2. I LOVE Twilight. Read all the books and saw all the movies. Acted like an idiot.
    3. White wedding cake is my favorite dessert. We drove to our honeymoon location. Don’t even kid yourself, I took the whole top layer and ate it on the way. Made myself sick.
    4. Cannot wait to meet you in person tomorrow. Looking forward to chatting about faith, life, and blogging!
